Crawford Village Hall Was Saying “Thank You for the Music” After a Fantastic ABBA Tribute Night

Crawford Village Hall was absolutely buzzing last night as the community came together for a hugely successful ABBA Tribute Night — and what a night it was.
The event was extremely well attended, with a brilliant turnout from start to finish. From the very first song, the dancefloor was packed and stayed that way all night, as everyone danced, sang along and enjoyed a fantastic evening of entertainment.
The Dancing Queens were simply amazing. Not only was the singing an easy 10 out of 10, but the choreography, routines and energy they brought to the stage kept the audience entertained throughout. Their costumes were also completely on point, adding even more sparkle and fun to the evening.

One of the standout highlights — and something so many residents have been talking about — was how the performers came down into the crowd to dance with everyone. That really made the night feel special and brought the whole hall together. Add to that their brilliant banter, which was top class all evening, and it is easy to see why the event was such a hit.
A huge thank you also goes to everyone who kindly donated raffle prizes. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over £280 from the raffle alone, which is a fantastic result.
A special mention must go to our raffle ticket pickers: Elaine (who somehow managed to pull her own ticket!), Jan, and Lorraine — thank you for helping with great humour and good spirits.
We also need to give a big shout out to Ella Greenhorn, the grooviest chick in town, who joined Agnetha and Anni-Frid on stage and absolutely wowed the audience with her moves. A true star of the night.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the committee members who helped make the evening happen: Daniel J, Daniel R, Aileen Gemmell, Jane Quinn, Julie Turner, and Corrine Campbell.
It was a brilliant night for Crawford Village Hall, full of laughter, music, dancing and community spirit. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a memorable evening.
What a night — and what a fantastic reminder of how special our community events can be.
